Uhuru AI
An internal audit platform built for African audit functions rather than sold into them, by a company registered and operating in South Africa.
Why this exists
African internal audit functions run on spreadsheets, on shared drives, or on a tool priced in dollars and designed around a US buyer. The first two cannot carry provenance. The third can, and costs more than the department it is meant to support.
A platform built here can do the thing that actually matters to the audit committee, which is make the file defensible, without pricing itself out of the market it is for. It can also treat jurisdiction as a real variable rather than an afterthought, because on this continent it is one.
What we hold ourselves to
The engineering culture treats a sentence asserting a property that nothing enforces as a defect. This website is held to the same standard, which is why several pages say a question is answered on a call instead of answering it well.
- No certification is claimed unless a certificate exists.
- No number is published unless something measures it.
- No client is named without written permission.
- Jurisdiction packs are marked provisional pending counsel review, on screen.
